169. Talking to my nephew for over an hour. He played the piano for me, and we hopped around in our respective kitchens, like we did when he was a toddler.

Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 22:43165. I survived a very long two weeks, including an overnight shift (the first one I've ever worked) followed by a four-hour shift later that day that both went very smoothly. I survived.

Saturday, April 8th, 2017 20:17157. My dear friend and her husband were planning to return from their winterbird trip today, so I thought I would surprise them by getting them something at the grocery store for dinner. As I'm filling my basket, I hear someone yell my name from across the produce section. I look up to see my friend waving at me. They had just gotten home and were shopping for food. So my surprise was ruined, but it was so much fun to run into her in the store.

156. Support. It's so hard for me to realize this, because I had to grow up taking care of myself mentally and emotionally. I had to survive alone. That is my m.o., so I don't even realize or recognize when I have support around me. Oh, may God help me to see the help He has put in my life.
